C/B Henry P Lading is the transport and lay barge Henry P. Lading. The vessel is built as a pontoon without its own propulsion machinery and is equipped with an anchor winch, 6 warp winches and 2 capstan winches complete with anchors, chains and wires. She has accommodation for 26 people.

C/B Henry P Lading needs only a water depth of 4 meters. Equipped with the best positioning equipment she is able to lay out cables or pipelines, in deep water as well as shallow water, in a very precise cable trace, and operate very close to the beach when landing cables or flexible pipes.

The most important equipment on board is the hydraulically operated laying (capstan) wheel and the big turntable with various tension devices and roller paths. Furthermore, C/B Henry P. Lading is equipped with an echo sounder, navigation equipment and equipment for measuring the angular pull on the cable, and the length of the cable laid.
