Royal Norwegian navy submarine in Kiel at Tirpitzmole (Kiel navy port) 2011/03/18 after her pressure test in the submarine-testing-dock of german navy in Kiel

ULA-Class (German submarine class 210). The combat systems were made in Norway by Kongsberg, the attack sonar is German and the flank sonars French. The hull sections were produced in Norway, and then assembled in Germany by Thyssen Nordseewerke, Emden.
Utstein commissioned in 1991

Recently arrived in Kiel (TKMS Yard) via ponton from TKMS Emden the new aftpart of the new german navy submarine U35. 2011/03/04
U 35 is the newest Type 212A submarine of the German Navy (delivery in 2012/2013). She is powered by one dieselengine and an electric motor driven by 9 fuel cells and features a cavitation-free screw, making it virtually undetectable.
Displacement: 1,450to. surfaced, 1,830to. submerged
